Sean Rice

I grew up in a middle class, rural area, constantly fascinated by my surroundings.  Always wondering how things work, I delved into almost constant study.  For years I learned, or at least I thought I did, until I looked around and took the time to enjoy the beauty of my surroundings.  My interest into the world of photography started when I was about 11, and I noticed that I had a knack for getting good photos of what I saw.  "The Eye", what some people called it.  My parents bought me my first camera when i was 16 - a cheap 6.1 MP Kodak, but it helped me enhance my skill at a fairly constant rate, and, without anyone to train or direct me, I forged my own knowledge and path.  I enjoy most types and styles of photography now; and have since upgraded my camera to a Nikon D40x.  Most don't consider it a "proffessional" level camera, but comparitively, it is only missing 2 features on a "proffesional" level camera; and the results are amazing.  The reduced weight allows me to travel almost anywhere with it, so expect some amazing shots from hard to reach or desolate locations.

Most consider me to be "too young" to enter the realm of proffessional photography, but stigmas mean nothing to me.  At 17, I decided to join the US Army as a Psychological Operations Specialist; currently 18, I'm a father to be, and currently engaged with my high school sweetheart.  I have done a lot of growing in the past year, and feel able to take on all the responsibilities and decisions of all these things.  There aren't many things in this world I won't at least give a shot; tying right back into my photography.  As far as I know, I'm one of the most ambitious 18 year olds I've ever met.

But if you think I'm ambitious, read up on my cousin Kyle.

Why AdventureSport Imagery

Originally, AdventureSport Imagery was created to be an all-encompassing photography company, with an emphasis on Adventures, and Extreme Sports.  But as things moved along, we found a new path (Kyle and I), and moved in the direction of nature photography, and adventure photography.  Our "official" mantra is that "Our sport is photographing your adventure".

Others

Over the years, I have met/will meet several great compatriot photographers.  If I can't meet your need, I'm positive that they will be able to!
